• Keep Day 1 light to avoid altitude sickness

• Weather changes rapidly; expect cold nights even in summer

• Only postpaid SIM cards work reliably in Leh and nearby areas

• Internet connectivity is limited in remote regions

• Carry sufficient cash; ATMs are scarce outside Leh

• Inner Line Permits are compulsory for Nubra Valley and Pangong Tso

• Roads may include rough patches and water crossings

• Prior basic riding experience is recommended

• Pack warm layers, riding gear, sunscreen, and sunglasses
