About the tour
Experience Rajasthan through a carefully balanced journey across its three iconic cities and the open landscape of the Thar Desert. Beginning in Jaipur, the route introduces you to royal palaces, historic observatories, grand forts and the colourful character of the Pink City before continuing west towards Jodhpur. In Jodhpur, explore the imposing Mehrangarh Fort, discover the architectural elegance of Jaswant Thada and experience the character of the Blue City. The journey then continues to Jaisalmer, where golden sandstone architecture, historic havelis and the living heritage of Jaisalmer Fort create a distinctly desert-city experience. The final stretch leads into the Sam Sand Dunes, where Rajasthan takes on a more open and elemental character. Stay overnight in a desert camp, experience the dunes at sunset, and enjoy traditional Rajasthani cultural performances and hospitality. With 2 nights in Jaipur, 1 night in Jodhpur, 1 night in Jaisalmer City and 1 night at Sam Dunes, this 6-day itinerary combines major heritage attractions with a genuine desert experience while ending conveniently in Jodhpur.
